How do I connect my home cinema system to my TV?
I can’t manage to connect my JVC home cinema to my Samsung tv. I am really new at this and don’t know any of the technical stuff. When I launch a DVD through the TV’s AV source it works fine but I can’t get any sound from the home cinema system when I watch normal TV. Can anyone help by explaining this simply? I have connectes the red and white RCA cables but it doesn’t work… what kind of cables do I need? Thanks a lot.
Majority of the tv in the market today have an optical output for the audio. Connect an optical cable from the tv and connect it to your home theater in a box. Keep in mind that tv programs that no not have the Dolby Digital logo will not have any surround sound information. Most tv programs are only in stereo. If you only have a composite connection on your home theater (red and white for audio and yellow for the video then you can not connect you tv to it. Hope this will help you out.
