Lets Take A Look At The HL 2070N Toner Cartridge

Looking for an inexpensive laser printer with a good set of sharing options? Then the Brother HL 2070N is the right choice. The good thing about this latest offering from Brother is that it can connect to your existing network. You can of course also opt to connect it directly to your computer. The printer excels at outputting crisp and well shaped text.

You don’t have to worry about setting up this laser printer because its very simple. Weighing in at 14.3 it is easy to carry around. It has a built in network configuration system at can get you up and printing in minutes. However in our experience we found that this printer is really a variation of the previous HL 2040. It has an identical print engine and small sheet capacity. Like the HL 2040 you can choose to feed your printer manually.

We would like to add that this printer is not the HL 2040 with just a network option added because as a matter of fact it has more memory. The print job is also processed at the printer rather than your computer working on the print job.

The Brother HL 2070N Cartridge is has a good speed and churns out a decent page per minute. Now since laser printers are all about being fast and furious along with good text prints this certainly does a good job. I did find however that photo printing is a bit slower. At higher resolutions it might slow down quite a bit. However I didn’t find this printer to be very good at printing graphics.

I found that this printer tended to curl the pages a bit which in my opinion is bad paper handling. According to Brother this is going to be fixed in up coming models. This printer is for those people who require a good high quality text printer. However I would recommend that you don’t buy this printer if you want to print graphics at a high resolution.

At the price level this printer is set it does a pretty good job at doing what laser printers are expected to do i.e. print text. You can still use it to print graphics but don’t expect any remarkable results. What it can do is print fine monochrome graphics which most text documents would include.

HL 2070N Printer Toner Cartridge has a good capacity and can give you long life for a considerable period of time. Unlike other laser printers available you don’t need to constantly have it replaced. In most offices the toner should give you a service life of a few months depending how much the printer is used.

If you use the HL 2070N Toner Cartridge to print graphics it’s going to exhaust the toner sooner than you expect. This is another reason why you shouldn’t use this printer to output high resolution graphics and just stick to text. Your text will look crisp and sharp as compared to your graphics so just keep this printer to text. Leave out all the other stuff from your documents.
